We recently completed one of our Louis XIII fireplaces for the lobby of the lovely, newly-opened J.W. Marriott Hotel at 151 W. Adams in Chicago’s financial district. This is a rare opportunity for our clients to see some of our work in a publicly-accessible space, since much of our work is done for private residences.
Working with Stone Design & Maintenance, Inc., the stone contractors for the hotel renovation, we adjusted our standard Louis XIII design slightly to fit the space. The fireplace was carved in our Classic French limestone, a stone which beautifully complements the lobby’s cream and beige color palette. The next time you are in Chicago’s Loop, we invite you to visit this new hotel and see our installed stonework in person.
